Given that the UN's primary function seems to be to support bloodstained, kleptocratic, fascist tyrants around the globe, I simply have no idea why democratic countries such as Britain and America go on funding it. The fact that in 2016 the UN issued five resolutions against that beacon of democracy and human rights, Israel - but only one each against the North Korean slave-state and the genocidal Syrian regime - tells us everything we need to know about it.
As the UN is now demonstrably a force for evil, western and western-style democracies should be doing everything in their power to destroy it. The UN is a left-wing utopian experiment begun with the best of intentions, supported by goofy left-wing politicians and a host of useful idiots on the Soft Right - but, as with all left-wing utopian experiments, the results are the exact opposite of what was intended. If it were a drug, it would have been withdrawn years ago - so withdraw the damn thing before it does any more harm.
Britain currently contributes just under 4.5% of the UN budget. Just...why?
