Somewhere, a village is missing its idiot - don't worry, he's Labour's new City spokesman

And yet, this ill-informed clown was educated at...

...St. John's College, Cambridge, and was chairman of the Cambridge University Labour Club. How did any of that even happen?

You will be astonished to learn that Richard Burgon was one of the 36 Labour MPs who supported Jeremy Corbyn's successful Labour leadership bid. He is a Republican - odd, because, as his uncle was also a Labour MP, you'd think he would approve of families handing power down through the generations. He was a trades union lawyer. He has written some articles for the Morning Star, in which he reveals himself to be quite the literary stylist: "Our goal is a society that is more prosperous, more equal and more just. The society our party was created to create." (Evidently a stranger to Roget's Thesaurus.)

No doubt he'll run rings around those dimwits in the City - if ever manages to find it.

  1. oh dear, oh dear - mind-numbingly embarrassing. He got off very lightly.
    The Corbynistas continue to baffle.

  2. ...mainly themselves, by the sound of this plonker. Perhaps he'd come up with something more sensible if he actually did consult a crystal ball.
