My wife's been doing magic again - this time it was a Hymnal Cake for a Hymnathon raffle prize

Jeremy Vine wasn't the only one to get a surprise:

You'd think I'd have learned how to distinguish between a real object and something made of sugar by now - but I made exactly the same mistake when I first encountered this lot on our sitting room table. It was the coffee stains that foxed me:
Luckily, I managed not to snap off the handle. 

The raffle brought in an impressive amount (the primary object of the exercise), and the winners were generous enough to share the cake - and the dirty cup - with everyone after Mass on Sunday.
Unfortunately, I wasn't there. But I'd already managed to cadge some off-cuts, and they were well yummy.
