No, it's not a spoof. And neither is the next one, or (as far as I know) any of the adverts below:
I'll end with possibly the worst-designed advert in the history of marketing:

  1. "Ambition Pills for Weak and Nervous men". If you superimposed a photograph of Corbyn at his most peevish this would make a great election poster for the Tories.

    "Golly, Miss Maria". The most recent example of pre-PC "Shock & Horror" advertising is the 60-sec cinema commercial for Silk Cut from the 70s featuring John Bird [You Tube]
