What could possibly be wrong with same-sex parenting?

The lesbian parents of a 14-year-old boy have started a MoveOn.org petition after their son was asked to remove the lipstick, black eyeliner and eye shadow he wore to Meadowlawn Middle School in St. Petersburg, Florida. The student, Chris Martin, was also asked to change out of a shirt emblazoned with an anarchy symbol.

Little Chris's two Moms evidently want their son to turn up at school dolled up like a whore and wearing symbols advocating violent revolution. “Schools need to be a safe place, and students need to know they won’t encounter intolerance there,” said one Mommy. “It’s not about our son anymore; it’s about intolerance.”


Yes, ladies, it's about your intolerance of the vast majority of parents at your son's school who no doubt feel that pupils need to be taught to abide by the rules, because that's an invaluable lesson for later life (albeit one you're evidently unwilling to teach your own boy), and who would undoubtedly prefer that their own children were allowed to concentrate on their education without the distraction of your son "expressing himself" (when he's evidently being used as an avatar for the expression of your own tawdry obsessions).

Grow up, you horrible, silly, self-centred idiots, stop thinking about yourselves and start looking after your son like parents are damn well meant to do.
