The Mississippi Urology Clinic lets it all hang out (hat-tip e.f. bartlam)
So, I was checking out e.f. bartlam's Flimsy Cups blog and his latest post featured a version of this somewhat direct logo (see it here). To be honest, I thought it might be one of those photo-shopped numbers - but I looked up the clinic online, and this is their logo (you can check for yourself, here).
Their medical team includes a Dr H Jason Blalock, whose surname I suspect might be an anagram. There's also a Dr Patrick P. Daily on the staff, which I find a little hard to believe.
I thought about checking out the Mississippi Proctology Center online just to see whether they'd been quite as bold in depicting their fundamental purpose - but on second thoughts decided to give it a miss!

Hahahahaha
ReplyDeleteNever, in any setting, does it get old.
Thanks for the link.
Hahahah
Thank you for posting it in the first place - best laugh I've had in a while.
DeleteAnd in case anyone's wondering what the designer actually meant to depict, I suggest they head on over to your blog and check the comments section.
Mind you, they might just have been trying to drum up business from men worried their various bits aren't quite in the right place.
Here in the UK we used to have an organisation called the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) and they naturally needed branding. It all went a bit wrong and now they're part of ERG, the Efficiency and Reform Group.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant - I may have to post that one too
DeleteWas unable to open this post. Could read comments by e.f bartlam and David Moss tho'. Very unsatisfactory.....are you having problems?
ReplyDeleteAs we used to say in broadcasting, it's all right leaving me.
DeleteAnyone else having problems?
