Now, just to confuse matters, I'm pretty sure the group featured in the video is another quartet, The Jubalaires, who also recorded the song. The backing music is from the first rap hit, The Sugarhill Gang's 1979 release, "Rapper's Delight" - not the first rap record, but the one that brought it to the public's attention.
