The Buchan Observer - possibly the best election result headline of all time: and the hypocrisy of Nicola Sturgeon

Give the journalist who came up with that one a top job in Fleet Street immediately (if they want it - I expect Buchan's jolly nice). Meanwhile, Wee Jimmy Krankie lookalike and Scotland's first minister, Nicola Sturgeon, seems to imagine she's a leading statesman on the world stage:

Gee, I bet Trump was mighty relieved to hear that - especially as Sturgeon's predecessor, Alex Salmond, had called for The Donald to be banned from entering the UK.  But, hang on! If the result of the US presidential election - which Trump won with a lower share of the popular vote than his opponent - "must be respected",  even though it was "not the outcome I hoped for", why does this incredibly annoying woman refuse to accept the result of the 2014 Scottish independence referendum, which the Remainers won by an absolutely whopping 10%
When it comes to events in her own backyard,  Sturgeon seems to agree with this snowflake:
Fortunately, the British and American people don't live in the sort of socialist republic where the silent majority have had no choice but to keep their mouths shut. Me, I'm with the truckdriver:
Perhaps we could ask him to have a word with Nicola.
