Actually, do you mind if I wait a bit? I've only just finished eating...

If you're a fan of these bands (and who isn't?), you're in luck...

...they're performing at  Muziekcentrum Cactus in Bruges on 12th February. Tickets are a snip at 13.50 Euros.

  1. Also, check out the 2006 reggae hit " There is dog-shit in my garden" by Danish group Shu-Bi-Dua on YouTube. It is based on the original Rock 'n Roll version " I have dog-shit on my foot soles" which dominated the charts in Denmark in 1976 and has some great lyrics.

  2. Thank you, Thor - I hadn't heard the reggae version of this pop classic (Clive James was a big fan of the original). Here, for those who wish to sing along, are the poignant lyrics:

There is a dogshit in my garden
    When I cut my grass
The dogshit is no longer in my garden
It is a-sittin on my footsole
    Smell like a doggies ass
And that is not the smell of Elizabeth Arden.

You can have women and cookies and a strawberryt,
But there is nuthin' as bad as a doggie's shit.

    No, no, no, no, no...
    Ba-dab, ba-dab...

...Let's face it, nobody's a fan of dogshit on their footsole.

    1. CRAZY LEE: "Well, how'd you like to kiss my sister's black cat's ass?"

      - I'll admit, I had to look it up.

    2. I was thinking about "The Wild Bunch". Apropos of nothing, of the four actors left to face the final shoot-out at the end, three had Oscars {Warren Oates being the exception]. The only survivor of the Bunch, Edmund O'Brien, also had an Oscar. An elite group of gentlemen.

    3. Damn - I was sure Warren Oates had been awarded an Oscar for "Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia".
