I suspect that, like everyone else who isn't a demented Marxist, I assumed that this stunningly moronic tweet had been posted by someone posing as the Labour MP, who, lest we forget, is actually a candidate for Mayor of London.
But, no - it appears that the woman herself posted this piece of drooling nincompoopery. In case anyone imagined that she'd been pissed (it was sent at 10.21 last night) or simply suffering from a temporary cramping of the brain when she composed it, she tweeted this earlier today:
So, let me get this straight: the possibility that an RAF drone strike might harm innocent people in a country which happens to be in the middle of an unbelievably violent civil war with a desperate fascist dictator on one side and some of the most unadulteratedly evil maniacs in the world on the other trumps the threat to innocent people in this country posed by vile traitors who, despite owning British passports, would have liked nothing better than to murder as many of us as possible. And expressing relief that two repellent enemies of this country have been disposed of before they could do any harm to any of us represents "triumphalism".
Hmm, yes, I can see how that might represent a conundrum - for someone who hates this country and who evidently really couldn't give a flying fuck about the inhabitants of the city of which she wishes to become mayor. I suppose it might all make sense...if you were morally deranged and possessed a single-digit IQ. Step forward and take a bow, the current Labour MP for Hackney North and Stoke Newington! Your constituents, your party, your school (Harrow County Grammar School for Girls) and your college (Newnham College, Cambridge) must all be terribly proud of you. The rest of us can barely find the words to express how despicable we find you.
