I thought Miliband meeting Russel Brand would be the silliest "gimmick" of the election - I was wrong!

But I prefer these versions of the EdStone...

As Tory MEP Dan Hannan (who tweeted most of the above images) commented, five of the six pledges are "solutions" to problems created by Labour governments.

  1. When Labour was last in power they ruined Britain.Bewildering, not to say very very sad,to see that they are so high in the polls.

    1. Labour ruin Britain every time they're in power, because they have a false vision of human nature, haven't got a clue as to how economies work, and seriously imagine that government is good at running things. I think Labour will do worse than expected tomorrow - I'm guessing they'll end up on 30% rather than the 32-35% the polls are giving them. The main hope now is that "shy" Tories, panicked at the thought of being ruled by the Scots Nats - who, even if they do as well as predicted, will only represent a tiny percentage of votes cast - will drag the undeserving Cameron, who has again proved to be a lousy campaigner, over the line, with a handful of UKIP seats to remind the Tories of the policies they should be advocating.

  2. In the unlikely event that he does not get into Downing Street and put up his tasteful erection what is he going to do with it? Perhaps his brother has some suggestions.

    1. If he does get in, we'll hear the opening bars of "Also Spracht Zarathustra" and Miliband will morph into the Star Child. Either that or we'll all turn into club-wielding apes smashing the bejasus out of each other.
