As some academic now claims that Richard III spoke with a broad West Midlands accent "Broadcasting House" on R4 this morning had Noddy Holder reading the opening soliloquy and it was very effective. I suspect even now that some bunch of luvvies are planning a production with Frank Skinner as Buckingham and Jasper Carrot as Clarence. Unfortunately Beryl Reid is no longer with us.
