As the current England cricket team seem to have coaches for everything [none of whom seem to have been actually born in England or have any impact on the team] would it not be a good idea to hire Lt. Colonel West as a "motivations" coach for a few days prior to each of the remaining three tests with a view to frightening the lads into getting off their flaming arses and imbue them with a martial spirit. He looks very effective His speech inspired me and I am not even an American.
I suspect you could wheel General Patton and Winston Churchill and Jack Nicholson from "A Few Good Men" in front of this lot and it would be too late: their woeful second innings performance at Lord's will have given the Aussies all the confidence they need to cruise to a series win. I will be giving the opening day of the 3rd test a miss - but will catch up on Thursday in the unlikely event that England are nicely poised at, say, 324-3 or thereabouts, thanks to centuries from Lyth and Bell, or if Australia finish the day on 263-8. I just don't think I could bear to see Mitchell Johnson and his stupid moustache looking pleased with themselves again
Yes, Allen West's speech certainly got me going as well.
