Apologies for the weird new look of your comments!

I realise that the text in the comments section on this blog has undergone a strange metamorphosis in recent days - it's now justified left and the space between lines has shrunk. Let me assure you that this is not part of a deliberate strategy to make your comments slightly harder to read! My hands are clean, and there is nothing I can do about it.

The one high-level IT expert who regularly visits this blog (that I know of) has had a look, and he's stumped too.  I've just reported the problem to Google, only to discover that many fellow bloggers using their system have been similarly afflicted at exactly the same time - the changes are evidently due to something that's happened at Engulf & Devour's end.

Meanwhile, please don't be put off posting - or reading - comments. The look might have changed temporarily, but I'm sure their high quality and entertainment value won't be in the least affected.

Technology. Sigh!

  2. It's not only the "look" of the comments, but the "time&date" mechanism also leaves much to be desired. It's all a bit upsetting, really. Perhaps if you spent less time attacking the land of your forefathers and got your "technics" sorted out we'd all be happier?

  4. Harry, the first thing I pointed out to Google was that some of my readers are very old and therefore easily confused and upset by any kind of change - to the point where they might require someone to come and sit with them fior a wee while until they've recovered. I expect you'll feel better in a minute or two. Meanwhile, perhaps you should ask your Compassion Specilaist Outreach Manager to put the following url into your browser: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6X_3N6pcXBw to take your mind off things, y'ken.

Me and Raylene wuz thinking that a bit too much of her daddy's mighty fine home- brewed Kentucky Sphincter Loosener last night might have affected ma eyesight.
