The problem with her olfactory powers became evident when we moved near Hyde Park, where the grass was so full of various pongs, she'd happily stand sniffing one blade for ten minutes while whoever was taking her for a walk bellowed at her to get a move on. Of course, she never paid any attention whatsoever, evidently assuming that we were shouting for somebody else's dog to follow us.
