If Cultural Marxist Robin Morgan wants to become "part of the oppressed", why doesn't she move to Pakistan or Saudi Arabia?

She's a leading radical feminist bisexual American writer, poet and (inevitably) activist. She is bi-sexual (also inevitably) and describes herself variously as an atheist and a  Wiccan. Obviously, she is "deeply opposed to all patriarchal religions."

Here are some of her other pronouncements:
“I feel that ‘man-hating’ is an honorable and viable political act, that the oppressed have a right to class-hatred against the class that is oppressing them.”
“We can’t destroy the inequities between men and women until we destroy marriage.”
"White males are the most responsible for the destruction of human life and environment on the planet today."
"Legitimate revolution must be led by, made by those who have been most oppressed: black, brown, yellow, red, and white women - with men relating to that the best they can."
"Sexism is not the fault of women - kill your fathers, not your mothers."
Goodness! How sad that anyone should feel the need to bifurcate the human race in such a mean, intolerant, prejudiced way - white men on one side of the fence and everyone else on the other. How would it ever be possible to have a rational discussion with anyone holding such bizarre, ugly, extremist views?

I downloaded the above imagine from the web a few months ago, but decided not to post it when I read that the 74-year old man-hater had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. As a gentleman, I have no desire to kick a lady when she's down. But then I read this on her Wikipedia entry:
Since her diagnosis, Morgan has been active with the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, completing training to become part of the organization's Parkinson's Advocates in Research initiative. In fall 2014, Morgan announced that she would be taking a leadership role in PDF's new Women and PD initiative, which will seek to better serve women impacted by Parkinson's disease by understanding and resolving gender inequalities in PD research, treatment, and caregiver support.
And I thought - sod it! Gender inequalities, indeed. When you can't even help people suffering from the same disease you've got without using it as an excuse to create yet more division among humanity and to further foster a sense of victimhood, you know you're in the grip of a particularly destructive and unpleasant mania.

There are plenty of places in the world where women are grotesquely, sickeningly oppressed - usually by non-white men. Given her penchant for grievance-mongering, I wonder why Robin hasn't chosen to highlight the genuine plight of those women, and why  she hasn't satisfied her desire to "become part of the oppressed" by the simple expedient of moving to, say, Pakistan or Saudi Arabia instead of continuing to reside in lovely, comfortable, ultra-liberal New York. It couldn't be that - like most Cultural Marxists - she's a self-satisfied, posturing hypocrite?

  1. I believe it may have been Janet Daley who first described this syndrome as an auto-immune disease. I think that is one of the most accurate descriptions of cultural Marxism I haver heard. The host is attacking and attempting to destroy itself.

    1. That is indeed a brilliant description! The only aspect of it I'd take issue with is that people who develop an auto-immune disease don't normally give it to themselves willingly, let alone set about making everyone who isn't similarly afflicted suffer for it.

    2. Unless you're a LibDem candidate, of course!

    3. But, then, most of them are severely mentally disturbed (and the few that aren't probably will be after 7th May).

  2. Ha ha ha. The Host - really? Both Janet Daley and Robin Morgan are Jews. Try parasites, aided by nomenclaturic Jewish crypsis.
